Cookies Policy

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit our website. They help us remember who you are, track how you use the site, and deliver a better experience. Think of them as digital preferences — like remembering your language choice or that you've been to a page before.

You have full control over cookies. You can accept them, reject them, or delete them anytime through your browser settings. Rejecting non-essential cookies won't break our site — it just means we won't be able to optimise your experience or track whether our marketing is working.

2. Types of cookies we use

Essential (necessary) cookies

These keep the site running. They handle security, remember your preferences, and process transactions. You can't opt out of these — without them, features like forms don't work.

Example: Session tokens, CSRF protection, language preferences.

Analytics cookies

These tell us how you use our site. How many people visit, which pages matter, where they drop off. We use this to fix what's broken and understand what's actually working.

We use: Google Analytics (anonymised IP addresses)

Functional cookies

These enhance your experience by remembering choices you've made — your theme preference, whether you've dismissed a banner, or your form data if you step away and come back.

Example: Dismissed notifications, form progress, user preferences.

Marketing cookies

These track whether you've seen our ads or visited our site before. We use them to show you relevant content and measure whether our campaigns actually work (return on ad spend). We don't use them to follow you across the entire internet — just to retarget you on platforms you already use.

We use: Google Ads, LinkedIn conversion tracking (you can opt out).

4. Managing your cookies

You have full control. Here's how:

Through our banner: When you first visit, you'll see our cookie consent banner. Accept all, reject non-essential, or customise your choices.

In your browser settings:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
  • Firefox: Preferences → Privacy & Security → Cookies
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Privacy, search, and services → Cookies

Opting out of specific services:

Do Not Track: If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we'll respect it (though not all third-party services do).

5. Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by companies we work with, not by us:

  • Google Analytics: Tracks site usage (anonymised)
  • Google Ads: Serves ads and measures conversion
  • LinkedIn: Conversion tracking for our B2B campaigns
  • Vercel (hosting): Performance monitoring

These third parties have their own privacy policies, and you can control their cookies through their own settings. We don't control their data collection beyond asking them to be GDPR-compliant.

6. Cookies from embedded content

If we embed videos (YouTube), forms (HubSpot), or other third-party content, those services may set their own cookies. We don't control those — check their privacy policies.

7. Retention

We don't keep cookie data longer than we need it:

  • Analytics cookies: 26 months (Google Analytics default)
  • Marketing cookies: 3–6 months
  • Functional cookies: 1 year (unless you delete them)
  • Essential cookies: For the duration of your session

Once you reject cookies, we delete any marketing or analytics cookies and won't set new ones unless you change your mind.

8. Your choices

Accept everything: We'll set essential, functional, analytics, and marketing cookies. We'll use the data to understand how you use our site and retarget you with ads if relevant.

Reject non-essential: We'll only set essential and functional cookies. No analytics, no retargeting. The site works perfectly — we just can't optimise your experience or measure our marketing effectiveness.

Customise: Pick and choose which types you're comfortable with.

You can change your mind anytime. Just come back to this page or check your browser settings.

9. Legal basis

We use cookies on the legal basis of:

  • Consent: You explicitly consent through our banner
  • Legitimate interests: Essential and functional cookies are necessary for the site to work
  • Legal obligation: We keep cookie logs for security and fraud prevention

Under GDPR and ePrivacy Regulations, we must ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies. By clicking "Accept" on our banner, you're giving that consent.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if our cookie use changes. Any significant changes will be posted here with an updated date.
